Turning Everyday Things Into Characters
When I look at objects like skillets, spoons, pumpkins, or teacups, I don’t just see things we use. I imagine characters. They can smile, talk, feel tired, or have adventures.
Sometimes a skillet becomes a superhero. A broom becomes a sleepy farmer who stayed up too late. A pumpkin becomes a storyteller with big ideas.
I don’t make characters on purpose — the ideas just come to me.
Faces and Feelings
Eyebrows show mood. Eyes show energy. A mouth shape can show surprise or happiness. When I draw, I think about how the character feels: silly, calm, sleepy, brave, or confused.
It makes the object feel alive.
Why I Love It
Drawing makes me happy. When someone smiles at my art, it feels like they met the character too.
